Gaol? Oh, jail!
After enjoying our time at the Guinness Storehouse, we headed over to the Kilmainham Gaol. Reluctant at first, Andy and I decided that we should probably visit this historic landmark rich in Irish history and realm.
Many of the locals suggested a trip to the jail, so we went. As you can imagine, the halls were damp and cold. Walking the uneven halls and depressed stairs, the feeling and sense of past spirits enveloped you.
Though we learned more about Ireland in our forty-five minute tour, we were ultimately glad we took the time to visit without the boys.
