The beautifully stunning St. Patrick’s Cathedral was just a short walk from our hotel. With it’s steeple caressing the gray clouds overhead, it stood as a landmark of a piece of our heritage.
Guarded by the towering iron gates and cobblestoned walls, this church was such a sight to see!
Andy and I were pretty adamant about visiting this church not only because of it’s timeless beauty, but also for a moment to remember and lift up prayer in remembrance of Papa.
Lighting a candle for him in the middle of St. Patrick’s felt humbling, peaceful and right. What an amazing way to remember and celebrate the life of a man so well loved and spirited. We will miss him dearly as he dances and sings with the angels above.
