Day Four: Epcot
In hindsight, I think Epcot was one of Kieghan’s favorite parks.
We decided to tackle the World Showcase half of the park first. Kieghan went on a mission with Phineas and Ferb in Norway. While he and Andy were on their mission, I was on one of my own. I would not leave Norway without buying an Olaf for myself! Yes, I could have bought him anywhere within the Disney resort, but it only seemed fitting to buy him in Norway!
We stopped for lunch in Japan, where we sat down at the hibachi grill and had our food cooked in front of us. Kieghan loved that!
We then headed over to Future World, where we executed a mission to Mars on Mission: Space, designed a new car prototype at the Chevrolet Test Track, and flew over the sights of California in Soarin’.
Kieghan and I sat together on the Spaceship Earth ride, inside the Epcot ball. He says that that ride was his all-time favorite ride. He got to choose what type of house he would live in in the future. Not surprising at all, he would live in a house with solar panels and wind mills that would create its own energy, and have an actual living living room with live plants and a stream with fish. He was so excited!
We had such a great time that Kieghan didn’t want to leave!
Next stop…more Magic Kingdom!
